The Catholic Media Network (CMN) in the Visayas region is strengthening their ties in view of the International Eucharistic Congress 2016. Fr. Edione R. Febrero of the DYKA 801 and SPIRIT FM 94.1 of Antique and President of the CMN Philippines met several priests and a lay who were involved in the radio broadcasting ministry. Held at the University of San Carlos, the event was participated by Fr. Ramonito Maata of DYWC and HAPPY FM of Dumaguete, Fr. Ireneo Gordoncillo of DYAF Bacolod, Jade Nombrado of DYDM Maaasin, and of course Fr. Roberto Ebisa, SVD and yours truly of DYRF and Power FM of Cebu.
The event was a sharing of experiences, plans and benchmarking of programs. A radio conference is also being set up in order for these radio networks to openly share news from the Church around the Visayas Region. Fr. Bobby and I also had the honor of inviting them in our program “Lingganay” at our station DYRF, the official radio station for the incoming 51st International Eucharistic Congress.
