Sioton came from the word “si-ot” which means “grassy and a little difficult terrain to pass through.” St. John the Baptist chapel of Sioton is the heart of the island of Olutanga since it is located in the very center of the island. Below the chapel is a very beautiful spring called “Guiwano.”
