This chapel is strategically located in the middle of other side of the island. Often this is also called as the “mini-parish” since it is the center for our seven chapels. In 2013 Holy Week activities, especially from the Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, we asked Fr. Tony Salas, SVD to be with them. It was the first time for the people of the 7 chapels to experience the liturgy of the Holy Week in full. From the very beginning, the people of Tabuk (the other side of the island) could not participate in our Lenten activities or go to the parish because of the distance. But this year, they were very happy that a guest priest was with them.
During visitations in the 7 chapels, I usually stay in the community of St. Francis Xavier in Tumalog.
