Fr. Henry Buerschen, SVD (+1957) arrived in Tayum, Abra on September 22, 1911. He related that he arrived in Tayum at night and had to sleep in the big Church. He was surprised to see the stars depicted on the ceiling of the church with some exactitude of position. The next morning, he saw that the Church had no roof and that he really saw the stars in the heavens, but had thought they were painted on the ceiling of the massive Church.
