Among Catholic religious communities (eg. SVD or Divine Word Missionaries) the term, Regency, is used for a period of time that a seminarian leaves his studies to work in the apostolic ministry of the community (eg. teach in a school or seminary).
These seminarians are called “regents.
“

First and foremost, I would like to thank the many people who were working in the background, who labored way, way ahead of others to come up with a succesful ordination. Maraming salamat po!
Denver guarded our announcement booth even late at night to wait for more visitors to come…

The SVD scholastics were giving final instructions on how to do about the ushering come ordination day.

It was already 2 in the morning and Ate Amy still had all the energy to give her victory sign.

Our co-missionaries in the kitchen were doing their stuff happily for already 24 hours and they were enjoying it.
